We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Accounts Assistant to join our team. The Accounts Assistant will be responsible for assisting with various accounting tasks, including data entry, preparing invoices, processing payments, and reconciling accounts. The ideal candidate will have strong numerical skills and be able to work independently as well as part of a team.

Duties:

– Support our finance team with the preparation of monthly and ad hoc reports
– Support our property department with the processing of rent and rates invoices
– Perform data entry to record financial transactions accurately
– Process payments and maintain records to help with both property and finance
– Reconcile accounts and resolve any discrepancies or issues
– Support the finance team in day-to-day tasks and projects
– Maintain confidentiality of financial information and adhere to company policies

Experience:
– Previous experience in an accounting or finance role is preferred
– Proficient in Microsoft Excel
– Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
– Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
– Knowledge of accounting principles and practices is a plus

This is a full-time position with regular business hours. We are flexible with working hours and particularly within school holidays.
